Step Inside Designer Darryl Carter’s Early 20th Century Bathroom

It isn’t often that you see a bathroom with a 19th century writing desk juxtaposed with a solid white freestanding bathtub. But that’s precisely the look that famed designer Darryl Carter beautifully executed in his Washington DC home.

The dark black fixtures of the bathtub contrast nicely with the pristine white bathtub which rests at the center of the room. A beautiful marble fireplace looks like it came straight from Paris and surely keeps the space cozy and warm. Finally, the marble horse inside the shower is a unique touch to an otherwise simple yet stunning marble-walled shower.
