Drywall

Paint
A simple way to change the look of your walls is to paint them! You can go with the same color on all four walls, or you can paint just one accent wall to make it pop. If you paint your walls, then be sure to leave your ceiling a white color so it can reflect light downwards into the space.

Molding is a thin amount of millwork that is typically applied to the upper edge of a wall, called “crown molding.” It can also be applied to the walls directly to give them relief.
Built-in Bookshelves
For a practical wall structure, try installing built-in bookshelves where you can store belongings and display personal effects. Built-in bookshelves are commonly found on either side of a living room TV wall or inside a home’s reading nook.
Brick
Brick walls can give your room an industrial look and rustic feel. Some homes and apartments have exposed brick walls which are part of the home’s structure. In this case, you can paint the brick walls of your home to change the look if you don’t like the reddish brown brick color.
Stone
Stone walls are less common outside of English countryside homes, but they do offer a unique appearance. Stone walls add an element of comfort and coziness to homes. They are often found around home fireplaces.
