Drywall

The most basic interior wall is simple drywall. It’s also called sheetrock or plasterboard. Drywall is flat and uncomplicated, going from ceiling to floor. Most starter homes and older homes have drywall installed. This is the most simple and affordable wall design which is also quite durable. You can hang paintings and art to decorate the walls and give them some character.

Paint

A simple way to change the look of your walls is to paint them! You can go with the same color on all four walls, or you can paint just one accent wall to make it pop. If you paint your walls, then be sure to leave your ceiling a white color so it can reflect light downwards into the space.

Painting the walls of your home is an art. Most people choose a light or pale color. Bold and dark colors can be distracting and create a gloomy atmosphere inside which you probably want to avoid!

Wallpaper

Wallpaper is another fun way to design and style your walls. You can go with a patterned, textured, or solid-colored wallpaper to make a statement. De Gournay is a luxury wallpaper maker beloved by many elegant interior designers.
