White Textures in a Bright Home With French Influences

White Textures in a Bright Home With French Influences

This French-inspired house was just 11 years old when it was purchased by Tanis Hill and her growing family. The renovation took around 6 months in total – and was led by Joanna Vagelatos, of The Cross Decor & Design. The walls were painted in muted neutrals, and the floors were completely replaced by a greyed white oak, giving the house a cozy, French farmhouse feel. The space features a nearly all-white palette, so texture plays an important role in the design: from the white herringbone tile backsplash in the kitchen to the vintage peeling paint of the piano.
