Gold Hardware and White Cabinets

Does gold hardware go with white cabinets? Yes, gold kitchen hardware can complement white kitchen cabinets beautifully. The combination of white cabinets with gold hardware creates a striking contrast that exudes a sense of elegance and sophistication in your kitchen.

The gold accents, such as cabinet knobs, handles, faucets, and even light fixtures, add luxury and warmth to the crisp and clean look of white cabinetry. This pairing is versatile, working well in both traditional and modern kitchen designs.

Ensure that the gold hardware you choose matches the overall style and theme of your kitchen to create a harmonious and cohesive look. Whether you prefer a classic, vintage, or contemporary aesthetic, white cabinets with gold hardware can effortlessly elevate the design of your kitchen.

Colors for a White Kitchen

What colors go with a white kitchen? A white kitchen provides a versatile and neutral backdrop, making it easy to pair with different colors to achieve the right design aesthetics. Here are some color options that go well with a white kitchen:

  1. Gray: Gray is a popular choice that complements white beautifully. Soft gray walls, gray countertops, or gray backsplash tiles can add depth and contrast to the white cabinets and create a modern and sophisticated look.
  2. Navy Blue: Navy blue is a classic and timeless choice that pairs exceptionally well with white. Navy blue accents, such as kitchen island cabinets, barstools, or decorative accessories, can add a touch of nautical or coastal elegance.
  3. Black: Black can create a striking contrast when combined with white. Black appliances, fixtures, or hardware can make a bold statement in a white kitchen and give it a contemporary edge.
  4. Wood Tones: Natural wood tones, such as light oak or walnut, can warm up a white kitchen and add a touch of rustic charm. Consider wooden flooring, open shelving, or a wooden kitchen island.
  5. Pastels: Soft pastel colors like pale blue, mint green, or blush pink can bring a subtle pop of color to a white kitchen, creating a fresh and airy atmosphere.
  6. Metallics: Metals like gold, brass, or stainless steel can add a touch of glamour and luxury. Incorporate metallic accents through cabinet hardware, light fixtures, or appliances.
  7. Bold Colors: If you’re looking for a bold and vibrant look, consider using bold colors like red, emerald green, or teal as accent colors in the form of backsplash tiles, barstools, or small appliances.
  8. Neutral Earth Tones: Earthy colors like beige, taupe, or soft green can create a calming and harmonious atmosphere in a white kitchen.

Ultimately, the choice of colors to pair with a white kitchen depends on your personal style and the ambiance you want to create. Experimenting with different color combinations can help you achieve the perfect balance and create a kitchen that suits your taste and preferences.

White and Gold Kitchen Design Ideas

I have to say this is without a doubt one of the dreamiest kitchens I’ve ever come across! There is something about the golden hardware that gives this room a truly royal elegance. From the gold-framed white range hood to the lovely brassy stove dials, no detail was left untouched by designer Laura Burleson. The chocolate wooden flooring stands bold against the pristine white cabinets.

Lovely marble countertops and backsplash help to tie the room together. The only colorful elements are the bright pink open-frame lighting fixtures that hang above the kitchen island and the pink cushions resting atop the lucite bar stools that line the counter.
